I've been using eMule for over 20 yrs now, & until yesterday, I hadn't used it in several yrs. & when I 1st reinstalled it yesterday, & got it all config'd, it was working great, & I was getting a HIGH ID, then my computer was freezing up, as it's a piece of shit! & after that, it gave me a low ID, & I simply changed the port #'s, & all was well again! Then my shitbag computer kept crashing last night, & after I git it to finally stay on, & I launched eMule, it keeps giving me a LOW ID, no matter what port I enter into the box! I used PortForward program, & added rules into my firewall, & still it refuses to give me a HIGH ID! Strange, cause yesterday I didn't need to do any of that, & it connected w/a HIGH ID just fine! Now, it refuses to connect w/a HIGH ID regardless of what I do! Please help!

Portforward program? Just connect to the router and open the ports there, manually.

I am using the PortForward prog, set up a static IP for this prog. but, I didn't have to forward any ports when I started using this prog again after many yrs., & I was still getting a High ID in eMule. BTW, I soon got it working properly lats night after posting about it here, but,the prob is the prob still persists every now & then, & it shouldn't alternate between working properly, & not! & my router is not my own, but 1 I rent along w/the modem every month from my ISP, & I cannot afford my own right now. & I cannot gain access to it directly, so doing any port forwarding directly via the modem or router isn't really possible, annoyingly! & also, it wasn't necessary in the past using them either. Not till I started using eMule again as of 2 days ago.🤔🤨😒 & No offense, but can't the developers somehow make a workaround to make it easier to avoid getting a low ID, & easier to fix if you do?🤔🤨😒 I mean, I do know alot about computers, & a bit about networking too, & I DO know HOW to to do these things, as I did have to for yrs. on old ISP's, & modems & routers I either owned, or the ISP allowed me to access, but, not all ISP's are the same, & some, like mine say that cannot grant access to them directly, for what reasons, I don't know.😒
If at least perhaps, I could get a full list of ports that eMule DOES utilize, that could be of some help. Also, if the UPNP built into eMule was a bit 'smarter', & stronger, it could resolve the probs w/out needing to do so much on the user end, cause it will say it was done successfully, but, then when you 'test the ports', it fails on TCP, almost every single time, regardless of which ports I enter into it!!😒 & it is beyond frustrating!😒🤬

UPDATE: I was able to DL a stupid app from my ISP's website which I was then able to forward the ports needed for eMule, & it STILL won't connect & give me a high ID! The woman I spoke to at my ISP said my router's logfile is showing that the router is blocking eMule for some strange reason! She disabled the security on it, & I tried again, & still no luck! I have a Zyxel router I was using in my bedroom for my TV,. PS4, XBOX One, etc. I will try & use that for my main router instead, & see if THAT helps any! If not, I don't know WTF else to do! it's so damn frustrating, as I WAS getting a high ID all the past few days, & now, I am not!
I STILL need help here! I called spectrum yet again, & the dude couldn't help me open nor forward any ports, nor to enable UPNP, but, claimed it was already setup. I have my own Zyxel router, I will try connecting that to my modem later today, & see if that has any effect on this! I had a high ID, then had to reboot my system, & when I did & relaunched eMule, it hasn't given me a High ID since! This is BEYOND frustrating!

Avast empezó a bloquear emule, aun cuando lo permitas te dará ID baja. Desactivar el firewall de avast puede hacer que de ID alta.
