Encryption Passwords On Archive Files
If you have downloaded an archive file (eg .zip, .rar, .ace) with eMule and it asks for at password when you try to extract the files below is what you can do. Your probably wasting your time with those password recovery programs. Depending on the complexity of the password it could take years to find it.
Move the file from your incoming folder and restart the download again. After you get all the sources, right click the file and choose "file details", check the comments tab to see if it there is a comment with the password, and also the name tab to see if someone has it in the filename like "filename[pw=xxxxxxx].zip".
Another possibility is to check the comments of the archive. This is often done by double clicking on the file and is then showed in some way in the program before extraction. You will not always see in these comments something like "password=xxckjhfkjsdhfakf". Sometimes times you will see there exists just a word, simething without meaning, even a website address (www.somesite.com). Try them all! Password is often somewhere there or else your download is for the bin! Further more you can try visiting the site that is advertized in the comments and find the password there.
You can also use a WebServices to see all the comments of the file, maybe you could find the password in the comments.
