Hi,
I would like to see which files I downloadaded and cancelled from the "known" files. Is there any tool that would let me do this?

Create an eMulecollection file inside eMule. On the upper left is a button that says "Shared". Press this button and it will change to Known. That should satisfy your curiosity about what you have downloaded. Select all files, and move them to the right hand pane in the window, and save the file as in text, and you have a complete list of files you have downloaded (or cancelled?).

Hi Dick_Manitoba,
Tx for the tip, but I should have been more clear. I am familiar with the method you outlined, however, it won't do since my known2_64.met file is about 650 Mb in size (yup! that's right! 650 Mb in size). Ergo, the little emule-embedded tool takes forever to open, it is impossible to actually get anywhere and it cannot edit the contents. Is there any other tool, e.g. MetMedic that will do the job?
Tx!

hi

you cannot see your cancelled files, except those highlighted in the search results.

your known files are in known.met, not in known2_64.met.

I don't know what metmedic can or can't do.
You can also try my emule file stats tool.
Although this is not its main goal, it includes some editing features. (but it won't be faster than emule to load the full list).
Amongst other things, you can use it to lighten your known.met by moving some known files to cancelled.met (But of course... see 1st sentence above ;) )
my latest favorite jamendo album (Creative Commons license): CraZyH et Djézinho - Prémis N'1
Could be considered as the male counterpart to zap mama. It's really worth a try, even if you hate hip-hop...
Jamendo tags = beatbox electro ethnique experimental hiphop lounge percussions ragga rap reggae scat soft triphop world
