Emule V0.49c Stullemule V6.2 ASFU greatly improved and first ever installer!

Hey folks,
it has been a while... None the less am I happy to present you this new version. This one was a particular bitch to debug but I think we got it to the point where it is stable and just pure awesome! You will notice that ASFU has undergone quite some changes. Reports of endless reloading should now be history. Another major improvement is that the File Settings are now saved sequentially. This reduces the time it needs to save them and reduces the CPU load. The saving threads have also been improved. Most notably is that the Save File Settings Thread will always wait 5 seconds between the last message to save and the actual saving.
As you might have noticed, this version took again quite long and I want to appologize a little bit. I could have released this a lot earlier but the code quality might have been a lot lower and this is not desireable. Another factor is that I am growing burned out more or less slowly and I need to cut back on coding to not get fed up with it.
The last thing I would like to point out is that I finally got myself to not just release the language files with the actual release but more importantly made an installer! Yes, a real fully working installer! I need to thank leuk_he for providing his script to the public.
Lastly some greetings and a small announcement. Many thanks fly out to my testers omeringen, Pan Tau, Dick Manitoba and Nissenice for enduring this pain with me. Also many thanks to the eMule-web.de staff for providing me the new great vista icon. The announcement somewhat resembles MorphXT... I quit using CVS, even removed the CVS entirely after some douche thought it would be cool to basically release it to the wide public, and switched to Git. The Git repository on SourceForge will only be updated on a release so don't expect any development code there anymore.

Since Ornis+ doesn't seem to be willing to "release" all the posts previously made I guess we gotta start this complete topic over! This is rather a conclusion I made but an offense to the devs, so please do not mistinterpretate or misunderstand my words!

Hehe the easteregg iss a surprise you must search for it maybe i know what is it. :lol:

Please do note that the upload code of this version is still based on Morph 7.4 with an additional optional slotlimiter. However morph 7.4 has a bug that sometimes not all the allowed upload capacity is used. Note that is a known bug.

@stulle: for some reason you cannot post an ed2k link for the language file like that. now it looks like http://ed2k//german file....

/Edit: hmmm: somemody just posted a error report on page 4 if you work with multiple temp files, some .met that have the same name are lost. Just rename them as aworkarround. (

Report: I have the "r" sticker after the download rate, but with:
-no powershared files
-no friends
-a ratio 1:1.58 (in 4h).

check out the emule wiki or the 1.0 changelog. you'll find out, there are certain circumstances (fs or ps on partfile) that cause a session long ratio activation. this is displayed in the tool tip menu.

I just had a crash with v2.0 when exiting the client. I shut the client down because these entries flooded the verbose log : "Exception in CRoutingZone::setAlive".

The successful WC requests and the downloaded bytes stay at zero in the file details although there's successful WC download according for example the global stats.

euhh... works like a charm for me! u'r sure you are indeed running 2.1¿

about wc... i never checked out any wc code at all! but i know one thing for certain, unless you do not download a single file there doesn't have to be a successful wc download for a certain file when a successful wc download is in the stats!

And I know for sure that the file detail WC stats are wrong.

It also stays at 0 in the user details

about the sorting issue... will check this again. it's a prob arround the automatic mode!
