I recently re-installed eMule on my new PC, but it's not been working as well as it used to. I have a 1000/256 Mb connection with a Voyager 205 router and Windows XP professional.
Before, when I switched on the eMule, the following happened: the upload would start immediately, and continue at a maximum nearly all the time. After a while, the download would start as well and everything would proceed smoothly, except now and then when it needed to reconnect to a server.
Now, when I switch it on the upload is flat at the top for a while, then it goes down and moves up and down like crazy a lot, during which time nothing gets downloaded. After that everything will be ok for a few minutes, then trouble will start again. Also, every now and then it will lose connection with the server and it won't reconnect because "the internet connection might be down".
What do you think the problem might be?
Thanks,

Marco

I just click on "connect" and initially it connects to Razorback.

Sounds more like UL Limit to me. This should be approx 24kB/s. You should get a straight line on the graph.

Note that the Voyager is known to be crap! Don't use Kad and set Max Connections to 200 or lower and Max New Connections/5sec to 10. I also think there is a firmware upgrade.
