Hi all,
I'm thinking of replacing my Voyager 205 router with a Zoom ADSL modem, model 5510. Does anyone know if this is compatible with the Kad network? I was never able to use it with the Voyager.
Thanks,
Marco

There is no such thing as "Kad compatibility" or "Kad incompatibility". As long as you can configure it to open a port for you, anything should work with it.

That is not true. The question was quite valid and the Voyager IS known to have problems.
This is because Kad uses large numbers of UDP packets. These are not controllable in the way that TCP connections are. That is why Kad is the most common cause of router crashes/internet disconnects. Many home routers were not designed for this sort of traffic.
Sorry, I cannot advise on the Zoom. Perhaps someone else can? I am only correcting the previous misinformed postee!
