I use this version now. But one question, is it possible to maximize the file cache? If yes, where?

- Whenever I download 2.72, I get a Kaspersky malware alert saying that emule.exe is infected with "Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Decay.pit". If you go to Jotti's virus scan you get the same result from four anti-virus engines. A false positive, I assume, but I don't get it with any other versions.
- In Windows XP, in 2.71, there's a bug in the search window. When you do a search, the results column headers shift down, but their image is left behind above, so they appear twice. Then, when you close a tab, its image is left behind. In short: the area to the left of the tabs is not repainting. I can imagine this might be an XP-only bug, and you probably all use Windows 7, so...
Sorry if this is reported somewhere else, and if it doesn't comply with bug reporting rules. I couldn't find them.
I'd upload a screenshot of the search bug but I'm not sure if I can upload attachments.
Many thanks for the mod!

CA is seriously different from DLP. Both are not perfect. Think about a client who only uploads. I am using kMule (because it works fine with WINE) right now on GNU/Linux and i upload to the clients who don't deserve a single byte. CA is nice but it should detect modstrings IMO. Someone (i guess Famerlor) was thinking about a mod with DLP+CA feature.

It's almost nothing compared to the DLP.

You can - of course - write down your list of mods that should be added to the list and we can discuss it (I suggest using the kMule thread), DLP, however, is a total & unfair overkill.

I am using emule beba v2.72 under Windows 8.1. I run it with admin rights.
I am experiencing some problems:
-It seems to be lagging sometimes, the mouse cursor becomes a clock and emule does not respond for a while or some seconds.
-Right now, after being connected all night long, i can see a lot of people in my queue waiting to download a file from me, but emule is only uploading at a speed between 2 and 4 KB/s, and configuration is set to unlimited speed.
Any advise?
Thanks for your altruistic work.

Hmm, maybe some "internet security" software uses your resources?
(I don't use Windows 8 yet, I'm currently downloading the update though.)

No. But next version will have a new UL system (from eMule 0.50b).

The crash information dialog on startup tells you where to send it. Don't forget to include information about what happened before.
