Bullshit.

It might never have been the main eMule discussion platform, but it is not "dead". It will probably survive the www.

In last years Mindforge has lost most of its users. It's a normal thing. Everything changes and now is the time for social networks (Twitter, facebook, etc.). There is no place for old systems.
Emule-Italian and Emule-Spanish had two channels and almost 900-1000 users connected; now there is only one channel for italian and one for spanish with maximum 300 users (on sunday). The other emule help channels are not too crowded.
IMHO there is no reason to keep IRC network (and especially Mindforge, a closed network with very bad rules)

There are channels on freenode with even worse rules.

Tuxman, i have tried almost every MOD out there, and in my opinion, your's is simply the best!
I have one request: It is possible to limit the slots to 4 + 1 low id. Could you change that to 1? Or in the worst case scenario, 1 + 1 low id?
That way, we would have slotfocus always on and working at full speed.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your obeisance, and yes, I could, but IMO it should work to have full speed with the current solution too.

It does work, perfectly, but, when I am downloading at 200k or higher, the slotfocus vanishes and opens 6 slots, spliting my upload speed in 6...
My upload and download values are 45kbps and 450kbps, so, I think it should be able to focus 45kbps into one slot, but, unfortunately, it is not what happens.
I have tried to enable and disable USS and the situation stays the same. Any ideas to solve this "issue"?

Again, thanks in advance!

Actually I don't have a clue right now. OTOH, I never wanted to spend much effort into optimizing beba for releasing purposes as explained in the initial posting.

The only way to fix that issue, is use a lower upload speed. For example is you move it to 40 or 38, it should not happen also when you downloading at full speed. It's due to a little instability when bandwitch is full (up&down).

Neoo26, i will try that and report here. Hope it helps, thanks.
Tuxmman, no, The Slayer of God is a reference to Weltall, a robot from the Xenogears RPG. He had the power to do absolutely anything, and yes, he killed a creature calle Deus (god, in Brazilian Portuguese ).
Tuxman, will you consider my request, to be able to use only one slot?

Neoo26 and Tuxman, thanks for your patience and good will.

Considered and denied, probably.

Ok man, thanks anyway. Your MOD is great and I will not stop using it.
I did what Neoo26 said, and it helped a little bit. My upstream is 575 (at least 50k), so I limited it at 40k, and the slots are more stable. Unfortunately, sometimes, the "issue" still happens, but, now, compared to before, it is rare.

Sorry for my english, I live in Brazil and speak Portuguese.

Thanks for the help and attention!

Tuxman, is there any downside in opening friend slots on Beba? Like downlad limitations and things of this sort?

Yes, God will kill a kitten. Otherwise, no, except that it makes your upload less fair.

I really do hope you won't open more than one at a time.
