Most of people are using the buggies e-mule 0.46a and 0.46b right now.
I want to emphasized on the program "Uploading" Improvement is same important as "Downloading" If some other people using the e-mule version that possessed a problem of uploading, then how do other people receive the files.
I notice not much improvement in my download speed, most possible the other people uploading process got some problems. How do I get the source files from them. STOP using buggies e-mule 0.46a and 0.46b.
One thing, before the administrator release the final version of software. It should be properly tested. If the virus is already entered in our system. Then we seek for remedy it is too late. The e-mule uploading should be fixed on 20K for most of the broadband. If no people uploading the files, then from where we can get the better source?
The E-Mule version should put stable release just like what open office done.
Such like Version 1.1 Stable Release.
"DONT SEEK FOR REMEDY ONLY PROBLEM FOUND, DO MORE ON PREVENTION."
Hope there are a lot of improvement with E-Mule version 0.46d or 0.47 in the future!
Regards,
viperiii
There was no virus in eMule ever and we don't have a special chinese version of eMule. The files you noticed are not part of eMule. So its a problem with your PC, not eMule.

Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Or to be more specific, it's almost completely automated now.
"Download priority" and "download in alphabetical order" are your only tools now to influence the sourcedistribution between your downloads.
It's working pretty well, i have to say.

P2P is not piracy, it's marketing.
In fact, if your music or movie is NOT being downloaded, you should be WORRIED !
If you can't even give it away for free, how do you expect to sell it, stupid ?

I'm still curious about how the accompanying serverlist was stuck together.
The new Mule comes with a server.met containing:
mp3search.ru, sonnyboy5, llamaServ, salopebrulante, emulerack2, eliteserver, ehorse2000, edonkeyserver2000, Cr4ck 734m..., ChezToff, Chathasen, asyrix2 and saugcenter.
apart from ehorse2000 always "seems to be dead" and Chathasen always seems to be full (only supporting 25k of users) I don't understand the choice of servers mainly for the reason, that:
eMule 0.46c comes with these nice new features : related-search and emulecollections.
These features work only with serverversions 17.5(lugdunum) or higher.
Of the provided servers, it's only Cheztoff that can provide these services.
I realized that the new mule once again comes with the "accept server adresses from ..." on by default, so one will have all the servers that are out there soon (and those who aren't there, too). One of the first things to do for me is to untick those options.
Is all the suspicion about fake servers just grown on nothing ?
even then I don't get the choice of servers. Why not have the Mule accompanied by a server.met containing all the servers considered worthy by the devs ? - and "accept server adresses from ..." off by default.

I don't think we made a selection for servers, but used a pregenerated list from a website, which probably isn't the best choice available. We may change this in future versions (or even update the installer by time), but as you noted already you will have all servers soon enough anyway.
