Dear users,

I present you the new eMule v0.49a Mephisto 2.0 Mod. Along with the many changes in the new official version come various changes in the mod code. That includes not only the MenuXP Sub Heading by fafner, but also enhanced localisation, auto download priority, newer and more secure libs. The upload underwent quite some changes, too. Superior clients (PBF/PS/Fairplay) will no longer be kicked from upload if there is no other equal client in your waiting queue. Further has a rounding error in the Trickle/Full calculation been fixed so that the upload perfomance is notably better. The dropping of blocking slots brings further improvements.

Like you could read in some of my latest posts, I initially planned to take care of the Xtreme mod. Xman asked me to do that on March 11th and granted me the required rights for the Sourceforge file system the day after. Unfortunately, those rights alone are not sufficient because I cannot release properly without having access to the homepage and I would end up causing confusion. Although I told Xman about it immediatly he did not contact me ever since. If you look on the current date you get an idea how long ago all this was and I am incredibly disappointed that Xman meets me with such a lack of interest when I actually want to help him.
I still hold the biggest respect for Xman's work and I have not taken this decision lightly. Thus is the version 7.0 of the Xtreme mod ready on my hard drive and will stay there for the time being. I might decide to release the new version at a later time but for the moment I doubt that.
I am certain that many of you will be angry about this step but I ask for your understanding on my decision. I spent many hours reworking the complete Xtreme code so that it does not only run on the new eMule v0.49a base but also eases merging in order to make further merges easier and faster for Xman. The way he meets my effort makes me sad.

Hoping that you enjoy this new version of the Mephisto mod as much as the last ones and probably as much as you enjoyed the Xtreme 6.1 version. I wish you the best fun.

Do what you must, Stulle. The whole state of affairs is diappointing. But clearly, he wanted you to continue if he granted you full SF access. So don't let small matters get in your way. You can always designate another site as the client's home, and he can switch back to his site if and when he returns.

Like you most likely noticed have I been busy with my real-life after the 0.49b version of eMule was released. Nevertheless have I used the last few days to finally be able to release a new StulleMule. The most notable function is PowerShare in the WebInterface. This enables releasers to use the WebInterface even better.
Much of the rest - like so often - is beneath the surface. There is a great number of fixes and changes. For more see the changelog.

Dear users,

Here now the new version of Mephisto. Like you can see there has not changed a lot but that should not be negative. The base ScarAngel has incredibly many changes and to shorten your waiting for a new version I present you an intermediate, "merge" version. The only change that is only for the Mephisto mod is under the hood and should prevent breaks in the upload in certain, unlikely situations.
No worries, there is more planned for this mod. Just stand bye. Have fun!
