Check Translations To See If You Have This Error!

When tracking down an error in the danish translation with the help of Obliterator we found that several languages despite the english one had the same error. Actually every language I tried contained the same error. The error is in eMule's Preferences -> Directories where the part about holding down ctrl while selecting folders is missing. Have a look at the link below to see the Preferences screen. :)

Obliterator has found that the string that causes this is:

IDS_PW_SHARED "Shared directories (Ctrl+Click includes subdirectories)"

In many if not all other translation the part in paranthesis is missing. Have a look if you have that error because that is quite an important peice of information. :)

:+1: ... PT, RO, TR and TW seem to be ok too.

All other languages are missing the CTRL information AFAIK.

thanx for the info,
i've updated the Hebrew translations ;)

i just wanna suggest that it'll help if
there's a lang system via the eMule site
like ItsOnlyMe created for his & SF's mod...
it will help detect changes in strings
and better help the translators know
what needs to b translated/updated :+1:

Hi,

The Catalan translation does have this error. What should I do to fix it? I'm new in the eMule translation project and am unable to find any source files or a similar way to update the GUI. In addition, nobody has answered to the message I posted in the Catalan forum a couple of weeks ago; I'm willing to help but don't know how.

There are other things in the GUI and in the homepage that should be translated/fixed as well and I would like to help. I even would try to translate the help file.

Not that I have anything to do with the translations but I'll try to give you a reply. Normally there is a main translater connected with the different languages of eMule. Since my Catalan is quite bad or non existing I can't really tell who did the last translation in Catalan. If you are not the main translater fell free to comment on the current translation in the catalan thread. If there is no current translator you can apply to Ornis (make sure there is none before doing this) to pick the translation at is current state.

Regarding the homepage it is a different principle since everyone has access to the latest translation: I would still say that you need to find out wether or not there is a translator already working as to not doing the work twice.

Regarding the help you should ask Hans0815 to a password to that translation since it is done online. If more people could join up that would be great since I can assure you it is hard work and there is plenty of it.

when emula was working windows was stop working and i had to restart itbut my transfer lıst totally gone . what must i do

when you say totally gone, did you check 'TOOLS' then 'IMPORT DOWOADS' or is this stupid on my part?
