Okay... well... I found one (i think) big mistake.

When you add servers, from (for example) a page ((http://ed2k.has.it/ or something...)) then in the bottom of the left cornor it should be saying (for example) "5 servers added, 75 not added" (already listed/invalid)

but the danish version says: "5 severe tilføjet, 75 slettet"?!?! Which means on english: "5 servers added, 75 servers deleted"!!!!!

But of course no servers are deleted, they are just not added.

You could use: "5 severe tilføjet, 75 ikke tilføjet (allerede tilføjet/ugyldige)"

please let me know, if this is a true mistake, and if your gonna correct it! :D

Thanx - dewde

Hi

In 43a:

Download in alphabetical order is called "DeVoice" in danish.

I believe the correct translation would be something like "Download efter alfabetisk rækkefølge"

Can also be written "Download i alfabetisk orden". Where in eMule did you found the word DeVoice?

I also think the word "Bootstrap" in the KAD tab can be written like "oppstart", "startsekvens" or "oppstartsprosedyre".

I'm not sure about this sentence "Open these ports on internal WinXP firewall" in the Connection Preference. Open or opened?

If Open, use the word "Åbne".
If Opened, use the word "Åbnet".

However, there is no Danish translation for the sentence "Open these ports on internal WinXP firewall" in the "Connection Preferences". The translation to Danish would be "Åbne disse porte i den interne WinXP firewall", "Åbne disse porte i den indbyggede WinXP firewall", "Åbne disse porte i den interne firewall i WinXP" or "Åbne disse porte i den indbyggede firewall i WinXP". just chose one of them. :D

In the Proxy Preferences, "No Proxy" should be written "Ingen Proxy".

Oh my god, more non translated text in the Advanced Preferences. :o

I'm going mad now!!!

I need some kafein!!! :D

And a minor error:

"Fortsæt næstede pausede fil" -> "Fortsæt næste pausede fil"

Missing translation:

Pref -> Advanced: "Disable A4AF check to save CPU" could be "Undlad A4AF check (Sparer CPU)"

Pref -> Advanced: "Disable download from Peercache" could be "Undlad at downloade fra Peercache".

I will look into as soon as I can. There are some new strings that needs translation due to the new version coming out. Otherwise there may be some untranslated strings in somewhere in between the translated ones since alot of the work was done before I took over. Large files to scroll through to check for any missing translations but I will have a look at it as soon as timer permits me. Thanks for all the info. :)

One more:

In details for a file -> Filinformation -> "Parts ??; Tilrådige 0 (0.0%)" ... Should instead be something like:
"Parts ??; Tilgængelige 0 (0.0%)"

Same place:

"Hashset Tilrådigt:" -> Should be: "Hashset tilgængeligt" ...

Oh - And I would translate "Parts" the same place into "Dele"..

Have updated the danish translation. You can find the dll file at my forum located at:

http://forum.emulegu...php?showtopic=5

Have change some of the things you mentioned but some of the were already changed. I think you have used an old translation. On the thread linked below you can always find the latest translation. :)

Btw I hope to see you registering at the forum since I can gather you are danish. Would be nice... :+1:

The Danish imperative is "Åbn".

I know that beggars can't be choosers, but who is "translating" all this?
Is it a machine or a monkey? A dyslexic retard or just a "happy amateur"?
Either way, the result is gibberish.

I have installed the new version 0.47c and don't know whether I should laugh or cry.
The errors in the install wizard are legion ... It would be pointless to list them all here.

Shame on you!
eMule rocks ... but the translation sucks!

Well I will try to behave since I know everything isn't perfect in the danish translation but again your comments are quite rude to be honest. Everything done on this project is volunteer so you saying someone elses work is crap and you have done absolutely nothing yourself make me a bit mad. Enough said about that...

The danish translation of eMule is done partly by two groups. Three people made up the first group and started the danish translation. Maybe two years ago I took over the project because none of the others updated anymore. Still there are a large part of their translations there. I would say my translation is still only 1/3 of the entire .rc file. To be honest the problem is often that you don't know in which context the translation will appear. That makes it much harder to translate because you can't really see and bugfix the translations that much. I will be happe to give you the .rc file and then you can go over it completely. You can find it at the link below:

http://www.emule-pro...ang_rc/da_DK.rc

Do be warned that it is a lot of work. The current file has little less than 2000 linies. Make all the alterations in it you want and send me back a perfect one. I'll diff it with my one and see if I agree with you and we can make and hugely improved and updated danish language file. I will be happy to help you with specific phrases and such if you are not used to eMules use of language. Please visit my forum below where we can write in danish instead. :)

http://forum.emulegu...php?showtopic=5

Just remember that with out neither group who worked on the translation no translation would exist. I can promise you that the translation has required huge amount of work. I am not just talking 10-15 hours here. Please respect people who did that to help others... :flowers:
