And I don't understand what does this mean:
"Enter a valid URL to a server.met and save the file"
Do you know any valid URLs? Could it be this one: http://ed2k.2x4u.de/index.html?
And how should the contents exactly look in this rewritten addresses file?
Earlier it was enough to dl some addresses.dat file and simply paste it in emule catalog, but now it doesn't work anymore.... at least in my case.
Please, don't laugh at me, I really have a problem with that.
My e-mule claims, he has no server list at least once a month. :/

And even then, better do it manually via the link Aaena posted.
So, disable the serverlist download on emule startup.
P2P is not piracy, it's marketing.
In fact, if your music or movie is NOT being downloaded, you should be WORRIED !
If you can't even give it away for free, how do you expect to sell it, stupid ?

I did disable the serverlist download on emule startup.

Could you, please, give me also some www sites where from I can dl actual addresses.dat files?....

well, if you're THAT desperate, do this:
1.go to Options>>>Server in eMule
2.click on the "List..." button and add this string
www.gruk.org/server.met.gz
(tick the "auto-update server list at startup" just this once)
3.restart eMule...
4.untick the "auto-update server list at startup" option. delete the worst servers and make the best ones static.
HTH
