Actual version: 0.44b2 (deprecated)
Release date: 11/02/2004 (initially 12/13/2003)
If you use the latest eMule version you are already experiencing this template, including many improvements by eMule+ and the emule-project.net crew

NEWS (06/31/10)!
The End. I'm officially retiring. A sad move, but its been apparent for some time now. Thank you all for using my "web skin", and thanks to the Emule crew for using the basics as the official skin in the current distributions. I will remember you!

NEWS (05/28/05)!
Maybe you already experienced it or going to: The current version of the template is not compatible with the latest release (0.46a) of eMule. That's the bad news. The good news is that the current eMule version has an improved webinterface (merged with eMule+) and is actually based on my design. In fact: You don't need to download anything here anymore if you stick to the latest version of eMule! It has taken nearly two years, but now feel free to officially enjoy a greatly improved Chicane template by the eMule project crew! Maybe I will look into the code from time to time or change some design aspects, but until then: Be happy! C out.

NEWS (11/02/04)!
Howdy! Now that everybody's excited who's gonna win the U.S. election, I throw this little bugfix release into the masses. It should fix the issue that eMule isn't accepting the template because... *cough* ...I forgot to increase the version number... *cough* *cough*

NEWS (10/05/04)!
Wow! Time is a bitch. It took me nearly ONE year to edit this topic - and yet again I have no real update for you. That fits... sadly. I had to go through many problems the last few months (including my job in real life) so there wasn't any time to progress the whole thing here. My excuse for not doing anything productive and as a thank you for keeping this thread 'sticky' I moved the files to my personal domain "nordinary.com" (yep, it's free of content :P)... In the end I want to thank you for using this web-template, thanks to all modders for doing such great work - and thank you for reading!

WARNING:
This version will NOT work (completely) with eMule prior 0.30c.

FEATURES:
  • Full Kademlia & eMule support (thanks to Ornis+)
  • Full support of all major browsers (Firefox, IE, Opera, Mozilla)
  • ed2K-link-download access on the main page
  • Web-search & normal search on the same screen
  • Color and graphical changes (to darker blue)
  • New login
  • Template cleanup

I don't know since the only MOD I tried it with was the LSD MOD.
Try it!

Works great for me! I love the colors. May I suggest on the preferences to be able to change upload slots? That for me would be very useful. Also, I dunno if this is something that you can do, but I never can see what people are asking for in my queue if the file is already downloaded or just shared. It says the client asks for an unknown file. Any way to fix that?

To be honest: I just started working on this web-template today, so I cannot tell for sure, what is possible and what is not. The thing you are asking for sounds more like an eMule-feature which has to be implemented directly by the developers. I think: If it WAS possible, it would be implemented in the original version of this template, wouldn't it?

Stay tuned for more...

Thank you again.

As long as someone likes this template I will keep working on it! ;)

I just discussed with Ornis+ if my template looks fine enough to replace the actual one in the main eMule distribution, but I understand that this is mainly a question of taste - and so there is, in the moment, no way of doing that I suppose.
The thing I will do is to clean up the original eMule-template file that it is easier for me (and all other people who like to make own templates) to develop my template independently - as long someone uses it (except me, of course :)).

The mentioned thread: eMule Development

Sure! I thought about that too - and it will be integrated in future versions, but in the moment I only have limited time (for the next 2 weeks). I'm only able to do minor fixes and changes. But stay tuned for more... :woot:

im missing all the icons.

First: I cannot view the image posted by you - 404.
Second: Maybe you deleted the "webserver" folder before copying my version in the eMule folder. Do not do that! The package ONLY includes my own / new images and NOT the original (needed) ones. You need the ORIGINAL webserver-folder + overwrite it with my version (that will copy the new files in it - without overwriting the old ones or such).

If this is still NOT working: STRG-F5 with your Browser (IE), or clean your internet cache...
If this is still NOT working either: Restart your eMule COMPLETELY!

Hope it helps... :)
