It selects the mirrors at random, what could happen is that you connect to a slow or distant server(europe <-> USA) and a timeout occurs.
No easy way to control this atm, we are filtering the crappy mirrors already though ;)

PS: The statistics show a steady increase in downloads :D , 7-8 terabyte monthly depending on the updates.

Only a question:

The file of h..p://donkeyfakes.net/download/fakes.zip and h**p://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/fakes.zip, are the same?

I don't think so. soultcer's got his own database, although I'm sure it'll probably be merged into the one on SourceForge, too.

I tell this, because in emulepawcio.sourceforge.net, the fakes.zip has been updated.

In Europe I have 25-50 ms..., 95% servers is in Europe ;p

My serwer use 0,3-0,5 TB / month , this is 1/8 max transfers.
(7-11K userów - plan max 25 K)- but transfer is not linear. 8 TB peer month is no big value. Aster is big cable provider in Poland - no command.com

I was referring to the sourceforge mirrors, which are spread worldwide :)
Europe <-> usa ping times depends on many factors, for instance an internet connection that is saturated(~90% up/down in use) the normal ping time could increase to a point that a timeout occurs.
And the sourceforge mirrors are sometimes overloaded, this mainly happends when a new popular application is updated.

Did the IP filter die? No more updates?!
I was kinda depending on this.
I would very much appreciate it if someone continued this.

@ gezza
For some people, a real world exists there outside, and not always it's compatible with emule. You have patience, sooner or later, everything will arrive.
Thanks to understand it. :)

Posted Image Make your own ipfilter file, and manage fake files. Take in count, You are the best filter for emule.

Of course we all live in a real world, that's why we all need an ipfilter.
So keep up the good work!!

I understand and think ( hope ) everybody else also understands that :)

But you know, 6 months is half a year..

So being a heavy emule user, I think it's important to have it ( IPFilter ) updated on this real and dangerous world..

You know, in the meantime, you can just load whatever lists you want from Bluetack and then compile your own ipfilter with their blocklist manager. It only takes a few seconds.
