I am of the opinion no that there is to obsess itself with this, and is necessary to have much taken care of with filtering too many ip's, that sufficiently are not verified, because it can originate a result more negative than positive.
Anyway, each one is free to do what considers opportune.

Just a proposal.
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

There are no dupes, filtered out with Blocklist Converter.
Be carefull, the IPFilter.dat from Espana is already implement the IPs from PeerGuardian...
The members (from Espana) check the IPs, that why, you don't have the entery list of PeerGuardian...but you have many others lists like:
-IPfilter v12 main frame
-Morpheus Blacklist
-Shareaza Security Update v2.6
-Shareaza Dead Bad Hosts
-Bob's Block List (BBL)
-P2P Bad IP List (RE)
- ... etcs ...
go to this page to view the all update of IPFilter.dat from espana

I got the same error about the Disney addresses. The script that runs on the Ip converter does not like that Ip for some reason. I removed it from the list and it works ok, then put it back in later.
@Meuh6879 "Be carefull, the IPFilter.dat from Espana is already implement the IPs from PeerGuardian..." or the other way around?
I realize this, as I said in my post, doubles are filtered, using the overlap ranges function of the converter. There are no doubles in the file. Merged your file with the one from PeerGuardian.net, as Methlabs site is down at the moment.
@Andu
Great idea, but.. someone has to take the initiative to update the file and host it, and E-mule needs an auto update feature. A mod I was using some time back had this feature, but as I moved to a newer mod, the option to do this dissappeared. That zip file is actually on my personal web site space, may not be there to much longer, Isp may get pissed if bandwidth gets outa hand..
@Shareoholik
I see the converter doesn't do Norton, may be a mute point, as I read somewhere that many firewalls will puke when you throw a list that large at it, I know Kerio v2.xx will. More info on the Converter and Firewall compatability here. More info on firewalls and Ipfilters in general, a must read, specially for newbies here. May have to sign up to see much at the PeerGuardian forums, its quick and painless.

Like the fakes.dat on emuleitor, that wasn't updated since months and meanwhile it's sooooooo incredible old?

But you could do it like emuleitor did (or do? ): Add an ipfilter.txt with a short version number in it to the server. So eMule could update it automatically (look for the Morph sources due to the code...)

I could, it is enough to provide IPfilter.dat and IPFilter.txt with a number of revision... it is very simple...
However, it is not me which created this standard... I prefer people who manually follow the updates...

"Filterlevel: <127"
Do I have to set it higher in order to block every IP from the list? if not, could any1 explain me what's the purpose of this option?
As it says, (got a window place at mathclass, ähh)
It filters IP's higher than 127.....
it has nothing to do with a lacklist or somthing like that

Heck yeah, thats a good idea.
Ok here is another. One main constantly updated ipfilter.dat source that would be mirrored to several webmirrors. Users could have thier client autoupdate from one of those mirrors.
Ok sense there would be a list of mirrors, there also need to be a way to verify good working mirrors and get rid of non working or invalid ones. So this means that when an emule client autoupdates the ipfilter.dat, if it finds an invalid host it would remove it from the list of known mirrors and try the next one, and keep trying until it finds a valid working mirror.
I'd also like to see something simular be done with fakes.dat
Does any of what I am saying make sense?

If you want to experiment with Remotekeys http://www.freewareh.../RemoteKeys.htm
I tried other ways, but the only way I was successful to control Norton was this tool.
