Emulefuture.de is expected to adjust the operation of the forum at the 13.05.2012. The ipfilter.dat will then no longer be available.

I'm an Emule novice, and I'm concerned about getting the filtering to work. I read your tutorial from 2004 and it was very helpful. I tried the "block the whole world" blocklist by editing it up in notepad, and that definitely froze everything. I can download a blocklist from http://en.emulehelp....ipfilter.dat.gz, and I think it's loading fine. It includes ranges of ip addresses with 000 level (to be blocked), that still show up as clients downloading from me. Some of these clients I don't care to take a chance with, so what can I do to shut them out? How should I "debug" the ip filtering??? Thanks for any help.
