Sorry, my server doesn't host zip or rar files. The file is uncompressed.
Greets!
Will upload v131 to the mirrors(.rar/.zip.dat), don't have the time atm to build my own.
So would be glad to have a new maintainer for the current ipfilter instead of separate releases from different sources.
Well, I try to maintance my server with the latest files, but the server has a limit.

Downloaded IP filter file "ipfilter.dat.tmp" is a ZIP file with unexpected content.
I am using this mirror.
It works when you update manually. But as i said in my previous message, there are newbies and it's easy to update in eMule for them
Please update the filter
By the way, there is two links;
1-) http://emulepawcio.s...et/ipfilter.zip
2-) http://emulepawcio.s...es/ipfilter.zip
First one is Ipfilter v128.
Second link is default link in mods. It includes ipfilter v130.(works fine when updating manually. "unexpected content" when updating in eMule)
Why there is two different mirrors ? In first post, there is first pawcio link(it's v128).
Pawcio mirror is up to date (v1.31) But auto update still not working. . .
And these two mirrors are same now(v1.31).

I'm using StulleMule at the moment
While using "http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/nieuwe_site/Ipfilter_fakes/ipfilter.zip" mirror ;
30.11.2008 14:24:39: Downloaded IP filter file "F:\eMule\config\ipfilter.dat.tmp" is a ZIP file with unexpected content.
While using "http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/ipfilter.zip" mirror
30.11.2008 14:27:01: 225627 IP filters loaded
Taking a look at ipfilter in config dir ;
#
#
#-0---(main title)---Ipfilter v128 (2008-01-27).
.
.
.
That's really weird !!! v128 -> What the hell is going on When i download these two links manually, there is no problem(shows as v131).
Maybe it's related with StulleMule
edit;
Tested with official and Xtreme, Mephisto client. Seems that everything is fine. . . I'm sure that it's a Morph based error.
The most weird thing is, where does the ipfilter v128 come from while testing with StulleMule ?
Anyway, i reported this issue in morph subforum. . .

I hope it´s solved the problem that you comment when loading ipfilter in this mods
On the other hand, I´ve edited the initial post to include all URL available.

Someone ( http://forum.emule-p...s...20&start=20 ) have noted that bluetack and pawcio 's ipfilter includes ranges for Relakks anonymous proxy server.
This is quite strange because Relakks is a service born from the same guy of TPB in order to give anonymity to p2p activity too.
It seems that those ranges are not filtered by http://www.emule-security.net/news.php 's ipfilter.
Personally I use that filter from long time and is regularly updated.
Please verify my observations. I think filter's maintainers should remove relakks ranges from their fiters.IMHO
Please give your impressions or contact maintainers in order to point this issue.
Cheers
P.s: I'm not an in IPfilter guru.

eMuleFuture.de is now hosting IPFilterX by Nexus23 which is a slimmed down non-paranoia ipfilter collection.

There's no need to block more than 1 billion of IPs to be protected, overloading further to a certain value will result in banning innocent IP ranges which means legitimate P2P sources, this paranoid setting will hog your machine.
You won't run into risks using IpfilterX and won't run into more risks than using an overbloated ipfilter.
It can be downloaded here and you can also find a little how-to there (German/English) :flower:
PS: it's updated *pretty* often compared to other ipfilters so it may be a good alternative

IF you use ipfilter v131, the best solution 4u: Go to Options/Security and Change Filter level to 108 & Reload it.

Thanks guys for the hints, the problem is not a local problem of mine but I have thought to spread this info in order to push this modification on the majority of filter's lists.
If relakks ban is not removed by a lot of lists, I think, changin' my local ipfilter database will not raise the relakks 'users efficiency.
P.s: explaining better, I am looking from a Relakks's user point of veiw.

But i can't see some important ip ranges like Mu-Yap(in Turkey) which connected with IFPI and MPA.
Ipfilter v131 contains some of them, but what happens if there is new ips ? Maybe they are outdated. How can i find new ip ranges if there is any ?

Thx for this info. Memory usage of eMule dropped from 72MiB to 63MiB.
