Hi,
There is something i couldn't figure out. Now i am using ipfilter v0.29...

When i try to update my list from peerates, i see the the log message like ;
21.07.2008 09:57:36: 5 servers added, 6 not added (already listed/invalid)
So, when i look at verboseling log ;

Filtered server "no1.eserver.emule.org.cn" (IP=222.73.207.86) - IP filter (fake emule servers)
Filtered server "Sharing Kingdom 4" (IP=89.248.172.90) - IP filter (Ecatel|Anti-p2p)
Filtered server "no1.eserver.emule.org.cn" (IP=59.60.30.132) - IP filter (CHINANET|Anti-p2p, [FK]Asia Pacific Network Information Centre)
Filtered server "Sharing Kingdom 2" (IP=89.248.172.50) - IP filter (Ecatel|Anti-p2p)
Filtered server "Sharing Kingdom 1" (IP=89.248.172.54) - IP filter (Ecatel|Anti-p2p)
Filtered server "Sharing Kingdom 3" (IP=89.248.172.86) - IP filter (Ecatel|Anti-p2p)

If these servers are fake, why peerates is not filtering them ? If they are not fake, why they in ip-filter list

Hey ElChele thanks for the filter.

Normally I used bluetack but seems that they aren't up-to-date anymore, their filter wasn't able to get rid of spam files but thanks to your list I got rid of them.

Haven't heard from Meuh6879 in a while now so we will have to wait for him to release a new version.
Will do some research in the meantime and see if i can maintain a similar list as before with up2date ip's.

The ip filtered posted by erdem444, only 55.xx and 222.xx ips, they are included in the Fake Servers list. The rest it's based on the blacklists obtained from the Bluetack server through the BLM.
Including also:
Inclusion list : Yes.
Import List: No.
Exclusion list : No.

The IP-Filter includes the following lists pre-merged into it:

1. Level1
2. Level2
3. Bogon
4. DShields
6. IANA Multicast
7. IANA Private
8. IANA Reserved
9. Microsoft

5:30 am, and I was working in the next Ip-Filter release. (today 8:00 am, I should go to my job).
After read to you, I wonder if is not better follow your suggestion.
Personally I prefer Meuh6879 release, but I thought that meantime somebody has to do it.

Agreed and still hope you will, didn't want to you to think that i didn't appreciate your help.
However i thought it would be nice to make a release that includes all the old sources that meuh used(Bogon lists for instance).
Can maintain the list if you don't want to anymore, will merge your fake server list with the bluetack lists at every update then.

Updating mirrors, will be up2date 5 hours from now
The emulepawcio mirrors always have a .rar/.zip/.dat file of the filter, but believe .rar is not officially supported in emule.

eMule has been supporting .rar for a long time, so it would be nice to keep it.

BTW, what is a reason for changing ipfilter format?
It became very redundant considering spaces between fields. Also the latest version doesn't have any header. At least header is good to identify which version of the filter it is...

I don't know how it can happen, but today some mirrors were uploading v128 of the filter whenever most of them are up-to-date...

Updated now the filter but gives this error:
