If anyone wants to setup and host muleBOX then let me know. I can fully set up all elements on the server needed and teach you. Then you can manage and maintain it based on your needs. If you don't know what muleBOX is then look up seedbox its virtually that but just for ED2K/KAD but little more complex with far more superior capabilities.

PS: PM me here or e-Mail me on my GMail as you see on the sig.

Wouldn't a tutorial in this forum be a better choice? This way anyone could benefit from your experience.

Yes, I have thought about that as well. But I came to the conclusion that it would be better in terms of security for the end user and the time it would take for them to follow, as they would give up. I also thought about uploading LINUX-Custom.tar.gz image that user can deploy. You need to understand basic in LINUX, osPBS, IPTable, SELinux, SSH, SFTP, HTTPD aMuleD/CLI/WEB/COM. It would take me about less than 10mins which would take average user hour to setup after 3-6hours for them to dig up and go though documentation to properly setup.

Normal SeedBOX providers already has custom image to deploy as its instant setup for torrent. But for us to make it work we need to grasp basic concept in *nix distribution and knowledge in networking and security.

Step 1: Finding node provider that will host with min spec of single/dual core, 512mb ram, 10GB+ storage, 500GB+ bandwidth which is about less than $10/month.

Step 2: Deploy and maintain up to date packages for minimal OS with small footprint. As installing additional port packages and service daemons.

Step 3: User fully understand how to maintain it to operate muleBOX. For downloading/uploading on remote node and resync to local.

PS: Like I said if anyone who knows what i'm talking about and knows what seedbox are and still wants to set muleBOX up. Then let me know I'll help you set it up and teach you to maintain it.

Well OpenVZ/KVM/ZEN VPS node would be ideal since deploying minimal OS footprint would be around less than 64mb bare. You can deploy it on Windows but thats waste of resource since you can operate on LINUX under 1/3rd of its resource. As you can shop around for cheap VPS below $10.

UPDATE: Those of you who already contacted me and those who is thinking about it regarding this just know I do not provide any services nor do I make money from any of this. You will need to signup for node but I can give you suggestions if you want. What I will however provide is knowledge and support regarding setting it up and teaching you to maintain it. So far 4 muleBOX node's has been setup from this forum.
