I'm using v0.50b of eMule and after fishing around in the settings and searching the web for something on the topic I haven't been able to find anything about an upload queue so I don't have 30 people downloading from me at 3kbps... Is it intended to be this way? Am I just missing something? Thanks!

Sorry, I'm asking if there's a way to limit the number of peers that I upload to at once so I can upload to a handful of people at higher speeds instead of 15-20 people at very low speeds... For example in my bit-torrent client I can set a maximum number of downloads/uploads and anything above that is put in a queue.

Fortunately you cannot limit the number of upload slots with eMule. This is a behaviour proper of the program you cited and it is not about sharing.

Well, it is possible to limit the upload/download slots: just lower the limit of connections to less than 10 in options - connections.
Unfortunately, this will exclude the download slots (because the upload slots will be filled almost instantaneously).
This is perfect if someone wants to share ONLY.

It does not sound perfect.
If there are only slow downloaders, upload bandwidth would be mostly unused.
