When I run the inbuild test for open ports I get the message:
"Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at porttest.emule-project.net:81.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."
When I run the same test with IE it works fine. This was not happening before the new firefox 35. I tried disabling all addons but it still doesn't work, so I don't know what to think. I uninstalled ff and re-installed it (though without changing the settings) but still the same problem. Anyone else experiencing this?

No I haven't try but then I assume IE wouldn't work either.

Actually you gave me an idea. I use comodo firewall and I have set it to treat firefox as a web browser (it's one of the options of comodo) I removed that rule and now it works fine! Thank you for your help
