For anyone that has been devoid of the fun to Mod eMule because they couldn't afford a copy of Visual Studio with MFC support. I can now happily tell that I just compiled my eMule Mod with the free (for open-source) and the just released Visual Studio Community 2013 IDE by Microsoft which is essentially the Pro version.

So, all potential Modders out there, there is no excuse anymore!

eMule v0.50a [NetF WARP v0.3a]
- Compiled for 32 and 64 bit Windows versions
- Optimized for fast (100Mbit/s) Internet connections
- Faster file completion via Dynamic Block Requests and dropping of stalling sources
- Faster searching via KAD with equal or reduced overhead
- Less GUI lockups through multi-threaded disk IO operations
- VIP "Payback" queue
- Fakealyzer (helps you chosing the right files)
- Quality Of Service to keep eMule from disturbing VoIP and other important applications (Vista/7/8 only!)

Hi netfinity!
I'd just add it's free, but it needs to be registered within 30 days.

INCONCEIVABLE! - You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Pretty neat indeed. A bit late from Microsoft, but still I like this move :)

Actually, the current emule code need some changes to compile with VS 2013. Could you please offer an VS 2013 friendly project of your latest mod?

Haven't followed progress of your mod's development recently, how's it going on?

To be honest I haven't done much Modding lately. Nowadays I'm leaning more to do some hardware projects. Doing a remote control for my telescope and such things!

You can find my latest source code for my Mod by following the link below;
http://svn.goran.se....etF-WARP/trunk/

The SVN server was down for like 6 months or so, due to switching apartment and I was too lacy to plug it in again after the move, but should work now.

No, it seems not working to me.

Apple's Xcode is free for quite a while; no comparison to severely crippled VS Express.
But yes, good move.
