Hi,Just having a little problem with VLC Media player. When i come to preview a partly downloaded file it starts ok, but after a short time a message comes on screen saying something about Runtime requesting to close VLC, then Windows closes program, and says it is trying to identify problem but never does. VLC has no problem running any full film, just previews, any help appreciated.

Yes, it is (very) annoying - I have this with previewing .mp4 (h264) files since i updated to VLC version 2.1.5 "Rincewind". <_<
Have been too lazy to downgrade - and not that much previewing for more motivation.

(also I am missing the audio shift menu option in vlc version 2.1.5 - WTF? )

So, downgrading may be the way to go here ?

The playback failure is not directly related to eMule.
You could try to ask VLC developers; maybe they would be willing to fix the bug.
