Hi, i am not sure if i am in the right area. Every time i try to connect e mule to servers and kad, i get an error message that keeps coming up saying server busy switch to and retry, so i click on switch to and the start menu comes up. It comes on again when i try to disconnect, anybody had anything like this, any help would be appreciated, many thanks.

What website do you have downloaded emule from?
How many files are you sharing?

2,956 files, and i think i downloaded from main website.

Try to set the startup type of the Windows search service to manual, then stop it, re-start emule and see if the situation improves.

Sorry for delay, hospital appointments, will try that, how do i set the startup?

In Windows XP or 7 : Start -> Run -> type services.msc, hit Enter.
(I do not know Vista or windows8)
In the upcoming window, scroll down to Windows Search, right mouse button click on it, select properties and set it to manual. And then stop it (for the moment).

Sorry for delay in reply, set it to manual and stopped it, and opened emule and it opened ok with no server busy window, what do i need to do now, when i disconnect from emule i quickly go down to start and .shutdown, that seems to work, do i need to go back to auto windows search.

You can re-enable it, but, if the problem continues, I think you should leave it manual or disabled.

Anyway, you can always re-enable it at any time, if it happens that you need it for some programs.
