I had eMule running minimized. I maximized it and the toolbar is gone, replaced by a blank space. Right-clicking the blank brings up a box with skins options and "Customize toolbar". Clicking the customize option showed all the elements that I had in the toolbar, but I can't find any way to open it. I am stuck on the transfers window without any way to go to the others. Shutting down and restarting eMule brought the toolbar back but after minimizing and maximizing it's gone again.

Windows 7

I think I might have had this, too, long ago.
No idea how to fix it, probably a display driver/ windows thingy.
Did you try maximising / unmaximising the window ? (This sometimes helps over here with messed up webbrowser display.)

But to switch to other interfaces in eMule without toolbar, you should still be able to use Alt-* shortcuts.
In any case (or like me you forgot which letter to combine with Alt), you can use the "Hotmenu" invoked with Alt-x.
