Hello to you all !
Please HELP ME ! I had the 049 version running nicely until I switched to Google Chrome. Then I found out that each time I was running eMule I had a Low ID. So I decided to update eMule to the newest version... I did all what I had to do, unzipped and replaced the .exe but now, not only I can't open eMule anymore but I have this message appearing : "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission" but I AM the Administrator !...
Please let me know what I have to do... I would not like to uninstall completely eMule because I still have downloads I would like to obtain and uninstalling it all will delete all the files I was trying to download...
Thank you so much to anyone able to give me an answer and help me to sort this out. I LOVE eMule, it changed my life !

Try right-click on emule, run as administrator.

lo que tienes que hacer es el directorio de emule renombralo por ejemplo emule 123 luego de hacer esto instalas el emule y cuando termines lo que tengas en temp en el directorio emule 123 lo pasas al nuevo emule (el que instalaste y los archivos que hay en emule 123 como el registro (no los directorios) lo pasas a la nueva instalacion y el incoming lo pasas a la nueva instalacion tambien luego de eso ejecutas emule y vas a preferencias y en archivos entrantes si en el anterior instalacion (emule 123) lo tenias en otro directorio escribes ese antiguo directorio y para los temporales (temp) haces lo mismo.
Asi te funcionara con la historia que tenias y no tendras que esperar para bajar como si fueras nuevo en el emule
