Whats Wrong ! my emule runs really wierd and i cant figure it out

i'm really new at all this. my first forum ever. i don't really know emule that well either, tho I've used it for years, it isn't running properly on my asus g74sx with windows 7 home premium (running defaults). my anti-virus is malwarebytes pro.
downloads just fine, but when i run emule, it blows up to like 300% magnification to where even just the cursor is like 2in long and the charcters are like a quarter inch high
anybody please help ! i love my emule and need some direction here. never seen this before and never happens with any other progrms...

Just realized that emule makes my machines default zoom go to like 300% and everything it's really big
Desktop, start menu, everything
What the heck !

This shouldn't be an eMule issue, you have to check your system.

Where do you have downloaded emule (which website)?
What version are you using? Official? Mod? Latest? Older than 0.49? Beta (0.50b)?
Are you using Windows magnifier?

hey thanx for your replies !
i got it from sourceforge... and cnet
but i found out what the issue was. not emule at all, like u said. it was that i already had an emule running on my machine but my wife had deleted it the shortcut only actually, off the desktop screen, so i didn't know it was still there. i only found it by going into "downloads" and checking every one and deleting til i found the original. process of elimination. i also used the sourcepath from my emule "incoming" folder.
took some work, probably basic stuff for geeks, but i found it.
turns out new emules wont run properly on a machine if there is one already running !
duh
learn sumthin new every day...

any more tips for a real rookie would be appreciated !
