This has become annoying I have files that I want to share within the emule community, but emule keeps saying one day they are shareable :bouncehi: the next day they are not :bouncehi: ! Why?? Is there a fix for this as I am using UPnP to get 'Hi ID' and I even have a high speed internet connection.

if them are in the incoming folder or in downloading are shared by default...but if you move them in another folder then you should share also this folder also in emule>options>directories or in the shared files window .

Directories

The Shared Files Window

if this not help you ...please to be more clear about your issue .

The folder does not change and when it does I change the directory for the file.

The file turns "red" in the Shared Files folder. Plus I have another computer sharing and downloading those files to see if what I see in the shared file folder is true. And it would appear that it is, for the other computer says, "Seen complete - Never." I know for sure that the word "Never" is a lie as I have it complete on the original computer.

Colours in Shared Files have meanings differing from Transfers. Red here does not mean 'not shared'.

It is the initial state of every download. It would be a bug only if in one session, without restarting eMule, the file was found, time was displayed; but later the value has changed to 'Never'.

What icons you see in the 'Shared ED2K/KAD' column?
Some servers might not index your files. How many servers you have and which one you were connected at the time?
Is KAD connected?

I see both (what look like) a computer and a globe under the 'Shared ED2K/KAD' column.C:\Users\Wow-man\Pictures\Shared Files - tab.png

Unfortunately you need to UL pics to a hoster site, like imageshack or photobucket.com

The chunks that are red that are complete files (i.e. in my incomming dir), those chunks are being shared.

So then why do my files show up as unavailable on my second computer if everything on my computer is good for sharing??

Just checking, but in Options/Extended settings do you have "filter server and client LAN IP's" turned off?

It is "checked" so it is filtering (I believe). Is this suppose to be unchecked??

No.
Since your 'bug report' turns out to be a support question, please see the corresponding forum to get an idea that you should supply as much of your configuration data as possible.

Its supposed to be unchecked when you have multi PC's on a LAN, or you are filtering them. ;)

Plz reply if that works or not. I have often noticed a similar issue with it turned off.

It is supposed to be unchecked for "closed circuit" testing. Normal servers or external KAD nodes would not be able to reach your local IPs.

Okay I had unchecked it, but nothing changed so I "re-checked" it. I am still running on high ID on both computers. Plus I am only downloading 2 files from my main computer to my secondary computer. Thanks again guys for your help in this matter.
