Does eMule support IPv6? IPv6 will soon be the only IP system available for new IP addresses. Is eMule compatible with that? If not, is there an eMule mod out there that supports it? Thanks.

No.
Some mods will (partially) support it in the future.

None right now. kMule (fork) will support it with its next release. AFAIR Warp will also support it at some point. I don't know if David wants to release a new Neo Mule - it'd also surely support it.

Does any major mods like MorphXT or Xtreme Mod plan to support it? I love eMule, since the network has so many older files, it would be sad to see it go once IPv6 becomes mandatory.

As wiz say, wait next kMule release, or check out NeoLoader, but in this last one idk if it's working correctly (a.t.m.)

It's sad to see that eMule dying a slow death when more ISP forces IPv6. I guess I'll keep using it until my ISP no longer supports IPv4. I wonder if the lack of new development is due to the German law changes. If that's the case, the original developers should hand the project over to someone in Somalia or somewhere with more lax laws in regards to software.
