I have used eMule for 8 years now, absolutely happy with it, the only P2P where I can find the kind of material I like. Some days ago it suddenly gave me Low Identity, and nothing I did helped. Then the list of servers became blank and would not upgrade. The same thing happened to me a couple of times in the past, always on weekend, but my little mule would come back OK Monday, so I learned to let it be and wait. This time it seems definitely dead. I've tried uninstalling and downloading it again, but my computer says it cannot find the files. Does anybody know what can be happening? I work with Windows 7 and my antivirus is ESET Nod 32.

Try first with firewalls/antivirus disabled (Windows and eset nod32).
If it doesn't work, try uninstalling eset nod32, and re-try (you can re-install it later).
If it doesn't work, let us know, but we will need your configuration, so you should expect a lot of questions about it.

INCONCEIVABLE! - You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
