Dear friends,

I was working with emule when my computer suddenly stopped !
After rebooting and launching emule, I was surprised because all my active files were not as usually in the transfer box … All files has disappeared and were listed with the same error message in the journal:
19/09/2012 19:27:53: Erreur d'ouverture C:\Users\JACQUES\Downloads\eMule\Temp\148.part (Le Far West - Jacques Brel - Lino Ventura - (1972) - Fr.avi) - A sharing violation occurred while accessing C:\Users\JACQUES\Downloads\eMule\Temp\148.part.

What can I do to save the work that has already be done?

Close eMule, find Known.met and Known2_64.met in eMule config folder cut and paste (move) these two files to a secure place, open eMule.

Possible paths to config folder

C:\Users\JACQUES\AppData\Local\eMule\Config

C:\Program Files (x86)\eMule\Config

C:\Program Files\eMule\Config

AppData is an hidden folder, to display hidden files and folders

Start -> Control Panel -> Appearence and Personalization -> Folder Options click on the View tab select Show hidden files and folders (or 'hidden files, folders and drives')
