hi guys just trying this for the first time but having problems getting search results up something seems to be blocked. tried looking all though help sections but getting nowhere. can anyone give me some guidance please cheers iv ran the first time setup wizard ports are tested and ok. a far as i can see iv allowed everything in my firewall. im getting a list of servers and can connect to them but when i search only 2 fies show up and they wont download, also im not sure what the kad thing is bit it says its firewalled but cant see how

try another internet connection then compare results. I can get results firewalled on ed2k and kad. Sounds like your isp is restricting which is why we have obfuscation. It doesnt always work though bc isp's figure out the traffic pattern (some if they really want to or try to analogize it and slow it down.

Mine did this and I switched to bittorrent downloads then they had to start over analizing because it was different. When they identified this or switched to see how ed2k would do, I seen they still had that throttle on there and I was enjoying bt. Next just in case I went direct download. Switched between these and isp said they have tried to throttle me but every time they think they have it figured out or try (first, second was way ahead of them at this time), 3rd see #2), then continuing in numbers same outcome. Eventually they just said hell with it bc im too fast for them and every time they think they have me slowed down etc when running one service, they have to start over. I and either way I switched isps many times after this due to each one of them selling me unlimited package of slow as f*** speed (1.5mb/sec then after a week lowering me down overall to 42KB/sec. Second one was 1.5MB/sec but after it worked well (I say well but rearely obtained over 60-120KB/sec and even that was not constant. Eventually I said well its better than slower suckier company above but after buying two of these, they terminated me as they were a reseller of a major brand and the main company said cut them off which is meesed up as both companies had unlimited plans (reseller, main) I even resulted to dial up for 8 months because they sucked on speed, support, trying to kill my downloads, etc first isp and second and third wanted to sell me unlimited package and then expect me not to use it same as one. I got on wi fi dongle after this prepaid for a while and still on main network but after first initiation month, they announced after 3gb they throttle to 32KB only after using the unlimited 1.5mb/sec on advertising for a few months (vergin mobile). Switched isps again and now have virtual machines and seedboxes and servers. Internet sucks down here so u gotta have other pcs on faster pipes. :-)


May I suggest vpn first and see how u do and test another internet connection. If this doesn't work rent you a server and run the program off it. :-)
