So most videos - rm, avi, wmv etc can be run if partially downloaded so you can check that they are the right video before waiting for the full download.

Is that possible in emule?

I see files being written to temp folder but I suspect they are not the pure video format.

If you cant whats the next best way to make sure you are downloading say the right movie?

a) In the download's Details window, in the General tab will be a warning if the file is not what the name suggests (e.g. .mpg instead of .iso, etc.)
In the Name tab, you can see how the sources name this file. If they all name it more or less the same, it is probably that.
If everyone names it very differently, it is most likely a badfile.

But that is a bit old, does not cover the new toolbar in transfer window.
