It has been a while now that my downloads are extremely poor, mostly all " waiting" in status ..
What has happend to emule?

How many files (transfers tab) and how many found sources?

I have more than 30 files but the sources are low at 0 . 3, 1, 8 and so on

Found sources (Statistics -> Transfer -> Downloads -> Session -> Found sources)
(the sum of the sources, suggested value is between 2500 and 5000)
Low sources = low speed = high waiting time
High sources = medium/high speed = low waiting time

At the moment TV Undergrpound, and my KAD is ticked on the Otions, connections network box

try switching servers, I used to stay on useneXt 2 then moved around some to tv underground and others. I run client, then when I shut it down after this, I start it on a different server and it tends to work better.

What happened to eMule?
It is now many years that I am using eMule for finding free Flight Simulator files. It ha always worked well, till early this year...
I cannot find good servers anymore I have only maybe 10 servers, and even if I want to download server addresses from eMule websit, no good servers come out anymore...

What is a serverless KAD network?
How does that work, and how can I take profit of that and getting better download possibiliteis?

try downloading more files at a time, emule and ed2k/kad network is a patience thing, it tends to run faster the longer u leave it running. I have waited 9 days before just to get a file off of here, and didnt' worrry about speed because I had other files downloading/uploading. Also I have dealt with slow speeds many times as it didn't bother me as long as I get the content eventually. If its too slow, try messaging the user if u wait too long to get a file and ask them to release it and tell them how long u been waiting. I have had people do this to me and I have messaged others. People on the emule are usually helpful. Sharing is caring.

I'm running e-mule plus 1.2e. Before I was attacked by a virus (unrelated to e-mule) in April I routinely downloaded several files daily. I eliminated the virus but have not been able to download anything since. E-mule still Uploads like a champ. I can't find that McAfee or Commodo are blocking. Any suggestions on finding a solution? My failing settings were identical to my successful settings. I've tweaked a little since, but no avail.

This forum is for eMule, not eMule Plus.
Since eMule Plus does not have KAD and obfuscation, I might suggest you to switch to eMule; the latest official version is 0.50a.
Or ask the people who support eMule Plus.

Thanks, just switched. Still can't get tcp in 0.50a. Disabled firewall, allowed ports, changed my ip. I'm not using a router. What can be blocking me?

What do you mean: can't get tcp connection? Is it about Low ID or you cannot get server connection?

You should post your configuration; please read sticky topics for that.
