Hi.
I think that low ID (yellow arrow in right bottom corner instead of green) is issue for too many users. Becouase they do not have acess to router or they do not know how to configure it. It would be great to make emule use UPnP on router like torrent clients. And for torrent clients you do not have to open door in firewall. It is all automaticly.

eMule supports UPnP - but it'd be nice to improve it and use it by default. :flowers:

Because UPnP must be enabled in the router, too.

For your specific file it might be true. In the whole network low ID percentage is much lower.

I have torrent client and emule. qtorrent works via Upnp but emule don't (at the same comp. at the same time). So I guess Upnp is on in router.

Either torrent client reports successful UPnP action or it just a guess.

Torrent client report successful UPnP action - It's green arrow in qtorent. And I have TP-link router. If I go in router (at my home) it is listed in UPnP.
I know how to open ports in router and antivirus, so I haven't got problem at home. I get High ID in emule, but not whitouth firewall and router configuration like in torrent clients. So fixing/upgrading UPnP in emule would be great not for me but for many other users who have low ID.

No. A record in logs, port test before and after, logged packet exchange would be a proof. Otherwise it is only your guess that UPnP worked.
