You are not being truthfull. I do know how to set it up, I can see how it works.
I set 20KB/s means 6 x 3KB/s slots
I set 40KB/s means 12 x 3BK/s slots
and so on
No, it's not like that, I have about 12 slots at 50KB/s, sometimes just 11 sometimes up to 14, I think it happens with many LowID clients. I think 11 is the number eMule would like to keep at that speed without all those LowIDs. fox88 had posted something about 26 slots with 200KB/s, seems about right.

Too many slots = too many simultaneous reading from different sectors of the hard disc = unnecessary strain on the hard disc = reduced life span of the hard disc.
Before we read more crap about killing hard drives with some not even nearly noteworthy load for any current drive eMule might generate with the upload speeds we are talking about, read
this. You might run into some performance issues, if you have 10+ Mbits upload and just one hard drive in your system, but you and Outbreaker are not even close to that. Still, you won't kill the drive with it as long as it's operating within a reasonable temperature range (about 35-45°C).
