Old Sourcecode V0.40 And V0.41 is it anyware

I'm looking for some very old eMule source code v0.40 and v0.41
it is not on the sourceforge page.

Does anyone know if it is still some ware up for download?

NeoLoader is a new file sharing client, supporting ed2k/eMule, Bittorent and one click hosters,
it is the first client to be able to download form multiple networks the same file.
NL provides the first fully decentralized scalable torrent and DDL keyword search,
it implements an own novel anonymous file sharing network, providing anonymity and deniability to its users,
as well as many other new features.
It is written in C++ with Qt and is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS.

Changelogs on emule-project.net jump from "eMule 0.30e (Hotfix)" to "0.40f" to "eMule v0.41b.29 Kad Test Client" to "eMule v0.42b released".
On sourceforge.net (emule files obviously), there is 0.30e and later 0.42a.. Probably you want this.

it's really not that interesting, i think, since KAD is already deprecated and KAD2 has been the standard for some time now. if you want to implement KAD stick to the latest code.

other than that, you might want to check mirror sites, they might still have those old files.

Yes, protocol wise is KAD2 ofcause the way to go, but the old test clients had a much more separated kad, it even had an own thread, so thay are some actually interesting parts inside.

hmmm... i was thinking about emulebase but it would appear they don't have such old binaries anylonger. you could try asking DaGuru from emule-mods if he has them by any chance... really don't know, though.

I think that the job done, in versions 0.40x-0.41x, is ended in the 0.42a sources, it was probably a working version without too much bugs...

0.41b.29 release : Jan 08th, 2004 (from March 15th, 2003)
0.42a release    : Feb 27th, 2004 (from Jan 10th, 2004)
