Why dont my shared files show when i search for them in kad? I have high ID and i have been sharing my files on emule 24/7 for several years now. But ive noticed that when i do a search on kad network, my files rarely show up in the results, but they always show up on global server search. Does that mean that they arent showing for other people searching on kad? That bothers be because i know that most people use kad more than the server search. Id like to know if thats wrong and if theres anything i can do to fix that. I am always connected to both server and kad, always High ID on both for many years, connected 24 hours 7 days a week. I have a related question.

Using emule 0.5a I searched Kad for some keywords and I selected and started to download a file. The best choice in my opinion. I searched again the two days following and still kept the same choice.

With morphxt today I searched Kad using the same parameters and found an even better file, appart from the one I am already downloading with emule. More sources, more comments.

I hadn't seen that one on emule, so I closed morphxt and reopened emule. Searched again and.... no new file, only the one I had chosen... grrrrr

I copied the temp folder from morphxt to emule. 60M of the new file had been completed (out of 6000). Emule recognized the file (it did rehash it first) an it found some sources... although not as many as morphxt had... o.0

Moreover, I have a high ID in emule, but through morphxt I used a lowID. And still morphxt is doing a better job!

In short. Why is my emule
-> Not finding as many results as morphxt
-> Not finding as many sources as morphxt
?

Why? Why?
