Ok, ok, I'm a newbie and I should not be doing this. (Asking something on my first post). But I can't seem to find anything related to it searching through the board.
This is the issue: whenever a sort of big file (350Mb last time) is about to finish, it usually stops downloading at 99.99% and then can continue like that for about half and hour until it finishes. The last time I cought it doing that the source seem to have been an "Extreme 5.4" user , through "KAD".
Any known issue about this? It's very annoying, especially when you are counting the seconds for the file to finish downloading.
This is, download speed is just fine and then it starts to slow down until it stops in 99.9% download progress.
Please.... help?
Thank You!

It's not wrong to ask a question. It is wrong to ask in this thread.

However, your question is easy. This is normal. It sometimes happens and for various reasons. There's nothing you can do about it. The best solution is to not watch your client waiting for a download to complete. Just leave it and return later & be glad you were able to get the file ;)

I'm having a problem with pratically all my downloads. They get a good DL (10Kb/s up to 30Kb/s <_< - that's my band limit) speed until the 90% then all of them (these one with more than 1GB are more commom) download at something like 180B/s :cry2: . the weird thing is that my queue usually have lots of user, many of them I'm at 5, 4, 3, 2 and even at 1. I'll be glad if someone could help me and I apologizy about my english.

After changing my firewall from Norton to the free Comodo Pro I can only get a low ID while before that I had a high ID.
Is anyone familiar with Comodo and perhaps can tell me what ports do I need to get a high ID again?
I'm a 66 year old witch and can usually as if by magic sort out most problems but this has me stumped :bouncehi:
My :respect: to all you knowledgeable and helpful people.

First off, I just wanted to say a big "Thank you" to all the moderators who answer the continual "how do I" questions. Shessh, you'd think these people never used windows before! :P I doubt I would have the patience to answer some of these posts. My suggestion to all newbs....and yes, I am one myself, would be "tinker with your settings in emule and find out what happens" The reason that I say this is that I for one wouldn't read about technical settings on a forum and make changes without understanding what these changes are about. Plain and simple. Get familiar with the program!
Also, as one who is becoming adept at settings and things, it is almost as frustrating for me having to slog through pages and pages of inane questions like "how do I put a shortcut on the desktop" as it must be to answer them. C'mon people, learn about your computer, don't just blindly ask.
Again, my many thanks to the moderators. :respect:
