So I took a quick look through this thread and found there's no way to tell which modem I have, other than it's a DSL.. Because it doesn't appear to have my type under the modems in the Wizard since every attempt to connect eMule fails. The modem type is "GT701.," whatever that means. Do I know whether it's 1024 kps or whatnot?
Thanks.
Thanks.

"Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.0.1. "

Why don't you start a new topic explaining, the most clearly you can, your problem, instead of adding useles replies for the sticky?. Adding a image can be a good idea.
