Kad Protocol Specification

I can't find any good protocol specification for Kad anywhere. All I could find was Kademlia implementations, which are not even close to *mule's Kad networks.

The best documentation is the source code of eMule and the comments within.

EDiT: You can, of course, check it out in the Wiki but I guess you're interested in the Kad implementation in eMule... so you should refer to the source code.
