hi, i'd like to suggests a new feature.
At home we have more than 1 computer (brother and i per example) and we are planning to add a new one that will be domain server, that machine will be up 24/7.
In this situation we can only set up 1 emule and then control it with web server option..
I think could be useful to have emule installed in all machines so this way we can add files with double clic but the files really are added into the only one that is connected to download..
I hope somebody can find this useful and easy to implement.
There is other way to do this without using web browser?
thanks.

You mean something like that?

Not so easy, I've got an answer on that from SomeSupport in the german part of the forum, can't find it now, but he said something like "a lot of job and not many people need it" or something like that...
You can however try using eMule thru remote desktop... I never tried it, but it should work, limited to one person at a time.

So poste ich richtig! (besonders Punkt 2 beachten)
Für alle, die was heruntergeladen haben und nicht wissen was sie damit anfangen sollen: endun.gen.
My Computers: LinkDesk LinkLap
BOINC ...and you can always say you're working on a science project.

I have a machine running 24/7 at home with just power and net cable.
For some time I've used vnc to control, but now I use remote desktop.
Access is granted for one person at time because I run just one emule instance, so everyone use same login/pass at remote desktop.
Copy/paste works fine so it's very easy to use eMule.
And I use this setup since 2002, from NT 4 professional with P100 to 2008R2 today.

Didn't someone once make a tool for this purpose? Unfortunately I don't remember a name or details but I have a faint memory of someone talking about something like this.
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
