Upnp Failed To Setup Port Forwardings

eMule 0.50 (Vista) worked perfectly for as long as I can remember. Suddenly I noticed having a low ID, without changing my settings.
- Router settings and port forwardings unchanged (I resetted the thing anyway, didn't help)
- Windows firewall is and always has been off
- using AVG Anti-virus, disabled it, didn't help
- my ports are 40000/40001
- fresh eMule install didn't help
With every program start I get the message "UPnP failed to setup port forwardings". Sometimes after a manual restart, eMule crashed, i.e. never came up.

IP should be static (or made constant) if you do not like to change forwarding rules from time to time.
Is UPnP enabled in the router?
Finally you can turn off use of UPnP in eMule.

These two things intended to be mutually exclusive: you do not need to "set ports" when using UPnP. If you forwarded ports, you can turn off use of UPnP (in eMule, at least).
