Hello, I am an appassionate of emule and every day I look with some curiosity the various suggestions required by various users.
The fundamental problems is that you can not understand if these suggestions are approved or not by programmers, so to make more clearly I wanted to ask at the admins if it was possible to divide into two or three different Important Topics the suggestions:

1) Approved
2) Not Approved
3) Under Review (optional)

Approved: programmers accept the proposal and include it in the new version of emule
Not Approved: programmers reject the proposal, specifying their reasons and can not be revived by no means identical opening new topic
Under Review: (optional) Interesting idea but not entirely convincing, waiting a final solution

Is clear that the discussion will be locked when it will be moved in these sections (1 and 2) and will be maintained open (3) those waiting for a solution, and final approval.

I look forward to your review

That is too much work and too restrictive. We would have to make a decision on every suggestion. If we agree people will expect it to be in the next version even though it might not make it in for several version. If we disagree others expect an explantion on why and of course they will want to discuss it.
If we lock topics we cut discussion off which often help users to see what disadvantages their suggestion might have or in some cases might convince us that the idea is better then we initially thought.
