I just installed Emule. Tested ports (OK)
Started program, but can't find where to add torrents to download. I used Emule about a year ago and it worked fine. When I click on the torrent file in the folder, Win says no association for ".torrent" file. I tried to specift Emule as the program to use to oupen it, But, no go.
Am I just missing something, or what?
Thanks

Wow, what a joke.
eMule has nothing to do with '.torrent' file...

There is a P2P software that allows something like that, Shareaza.
I give you the address because I don't want you to be redirected to some fake/hostile/hacking domain:
http://shareaza.sourceforge.net/

Anyway, in Shareaza you don't share torrent files in ed2k(kad) network. The advantage? of shareaza is that you use only a program to manage both networks, the disadvantage is that emule is better managing ed2k(and kad).

In this post nobody said about "merging" downloads from Emule and BT. He just said that torrent files aren't associated to Emule. If you want to use a single tool to have both torrent and ed2k files associated to it, I know Shareaza can do that. How well it works for torrent and ed2k, I can't tell.

I am sure you know that shareaza don't merge the networks, but can lead to missunderstandings from people with less knowledge.

Oh crap,
I feel like a real dummy. I dont use this type of software often. I did use Emule years ago and got it mixed up with Utorrent. Discrepency resolved.
Thanks
