Best Ipfilter List

where is the best place to get ipfilter lists? i heard blutack isint any good.

There is three different good ipfilters ;
developing at e-project forum by volunteers
IpfilterX by nexus corp.(lightweighted)
Ipfilter by ozzy

thanks. i will check those out.

if i convert them to .dat they should work in utorrent to right? i dont see why not. ill give it a try.

anyone know of any good vpn services? or any good ip-proxies?

got another question.

when i select under "see my shared files" friends only. does that mean that only my friends will have access to my files or does it mean anyone can access my files but only my friends can see/browse the files i have?

which ipfilter is the most updated nowadays? for use with emule and or utorrent? also what about hosts file?

I recommend you to never use IP filters.

Yes, that was about a level-3 filterlist. Those are for folks who wear aluminum foil hats and those that easily fall for "this makes everything secure" promises.

However level-1 filterlists are much more sane imo..
(Even though I myself once was filtered by many badly or not-at-all maintained lvl-1 filterlists - they never updated their bogon-list after all the remaining of previously "unused" IPv4-ranges were assigned.)

Take this level-1 list for example :

emule-security.org said:

Bogon list - 17.08.14
Fake servers list - 17.08.14
Level 1 list - 17.08.14
208774 filters loaded

208k IPs filtered as opposed to 2 billion IPs filtered.

Sometimes I suspend IPfilter - when there MUST be a complete(-r) source out there, only my mule never sees it, and the indirect d/l is not good enough.

edit - WTF? Why on earth would this of all boards print a ® when I write ( r ) ?
