Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

[Imagine there was a sarcasm meter right here!]
No, there will not be a new version of my mods. No, I do not want your PM. No, I am certain, use the board and quit sending PMs. No, I am not kidding, there will not be a new version of my mods just because of YOU asking for it!

- 'Make eMule search for any text you select without leaving Firefox.'
- 'Search eMule for "%2$S"'
- 'eMuleSearch Options'
- 'Enabled'
- 'eMule Search'
Thanks in advance. If you provide a translation please let me know under which name you'd like to be mentioned as translator in the plugin metadata and on the Firefox add-ons site.
Of course i welcome and would be thankful to anyone with translation to any other language.

Now, a couple of months later i finally had some time and inspiration to fix that problem. Here is the latest version of eMuleSearch-0.1.1-fx.xpi
I also made sure that the add-on is compatible with Firefox 4.x
I'd be grateful to anyone who could test it for me on a Spanish Firefox.
Trivia:

Well, eMuleSearch been downloaded almost 30.000 times and at this point there are more than 4500 active users. The most recent stats on distribution per locale support your order quite well.
Datum - 1 Apr. 2011 Aantal - 4559 it - 1189 es-ES - 959 en-US - 890 zh-CN - 454 de - 381 en-GB - 142 fr - 69 es-AR - 67 pt-BR - 55 ru - 37 zh-TW - 27 pl - 27 el - 22 es-MX - 21 tr - 18 ja - 17 sl - 16 it-IT - 16 pt-PT - 16 nl - 12 ca - 11 hu - 11 ko - 11 bg - 9 sv-SE - 9 da - 7 de-DE - 6 vi - 6 fr-FR - 5 ja-JP-mac - 5 ar - 4 nb-NO - 4 eu - 3 ca-ES - 3 fi - 3 sk - 3 hr - 2 es-CL - 2 lt - 2 gl - 2 uk - 2 cs - 2 zh-CH - 2 th - 1 es-CO - 1 et - 1 zh-HK - 1 ru-RU - 1 ro - 1 fi-FI - 1 Leeg - 1 es-VE - 1
Except France is surprisingly lagging behind. Of course this is just those eMule users that use Firefox and its market penetration differs from country to country. Still i'd like to add French translation to eMuleSearch. Any one can help me out?

Yes, once you saved the test version to your PC, both double-clicking and dragging to FF works.
But, thanks to Torpon's input i fixed most diacritics related problems and uploaded the new version (with Spanish translation) to Mozilla Add-Ons site.
Hopefully someone will provide German, French or Chinese translation soon.

Here we go for the French version:
- 'Effectuer une recherche sur eMule pour tout texte sélectionné, sans quitter Firefox'
- 'Rechercher "%2$S" sur eMule'
- 'Options d'eMuleSearch'
- 'Activé'
- 'Rechercher sur eMule'
...and here comes the Turkish version:
- 'Seçtiğiniz metinleri Firefox'dan ayrılmadan eMule'de arayın.'
- 'eMule'de bu metni ara: "%2$S"'
- 'eMuleSearch seçenekleri'
- 'Etkin'
- 'eMule'de Arama'

Thanks for this extension and thanks for releasing it under a free software license. No need for credits, you'll take all the blame for my mistakes, thank you very much Also, as a feature request, what about a porting it to SeaMonkey? It seems fairly doable, I just added
<em:targetApplication>
<!-- SeaMonkey -->
<Description>
<em:id>{92650c4d-4b8e-4d2a-b7eb-24ecf4f6b63a}</em:id>
<em:minVersion>2.0</em:minVersion>
<em:maxVersion>2.0.*</em:maxVersion>
</Description>
</em:targetApplication>
to install.rdf and overlay chrome://navigator/content/navigator.xul chrome://eMuleSearch/content/overlay.xul to chrome.manifest and the xpi installs fine, it's there on the Add-on Manager window, I even get a new (empty...) line in the contextual menu with a right-click. I don't know much about Moz extensions but it seems the port can be pretty straightforward.

I will soon post a new version with French and Turkish translations.
As for SeaMonkey... i have never used it and don't have much time for experimenting for the sake of all the 3 and a half people that do But if you ever figure out how to do i will gladly let you incorporate your code
