Hello,
i need to know if emule is using symmetric ports for it's network layers, meaning, all outgoing packets(be it data, or kad, or commands, tcp or udp) are marked as being originated by the configured ed2k tcp/udp ports (in contrast with normal http traffic where the originating port is random).
I've done some packet capturing and watched the network stack of the process itself and it all points that it is indeed symmetric, but i saw some oddities that don't conform and i'd like to hear from the devs themselves.

No it doesn't. Windows is choosing the outgoing port numbers for TCP sockets.
