Hello,
I need to create directories in the Download Transfer's Page because I've many files in this page (example 300 files).
A system of directories could be an advantage, for example, to launch, pause or stop a group of files.
A system of directories could be better visually for classify group of files.
A system of directories could be better for identify group of files.
A system of directories could be better visually with a function "Maximize or Minimize" and will allow a management of more files.
AND MORE....
Sorry for my English, I'm French.
Thanks.

Just to clarify: are you referring to the "Incomplete Files" and/or "Incoming Files" under the "Shared Files" window, or the list in the "Transfers" window?
If its the "Transfers" window, have you used the Category system, and does it help or not?
300 downloads is a huge number, unless they are tiny files.
If you are using the French version of eMule, use the French names and I'm sure we can figure it out.

So We’re In Agreement Maxim: If you’re happy with your security, so are the bad guys.
from Vulnerability Assessment Security Maxims
For a Secure VPN option (instead of an insecure proxy), try ItsHidden ($10/mo). And check out PeerBlock for extra (free) protection against the bad guys.

I will donate EUR100 to the first version/mod of eMule that can successfully stop a poisoning attack, and allow me to block/distrust/ignore users from sending me stuff, and allow me to block/prevent them from receiving stuff, and not permit users to take or send partial chunks of data.
Until this happens, or until the corruption handling works correctly, please add the following to your IP Filter (ipfilter.dat):
With apologies to the legitimate users of these ISPs who are being unfairly tarred with the same brush as the bad guys.

Thanks for your answer.
Actually, it is the list in the "Transfers" window.
So I inquired on those categories that I didn't know.
Atfer twenty minutes of research on Emule, I found the place where I could add categories (it's not very well signposted...)
and after some tests, it suits me perfectly.
Thank you again.

Twenty minutes for looking at Features/Categories in help or find this in The GUI/The Transfers Window?

On the top right you can see the category tab which allows you to sort your downloads by categories (more details)
Cheers
PD In French help you don't have help for The GUI, but you still have Fonctions/Catégories

hi

I'm afraid I have to agree with annnnne:
- as long as no categories have been added, the category tab (All) is not very visible, and even once seen, its function is not so obvious...
- we all know that many people (including myself) don't like to read help files. And there's already a lot of stuff to read in the emule help files. IIRC, I have used eMule for months before I discovered that downloads can be categorized...
Maybe the "All" tab could be renamed, as long as no categories have been defined, to something like "Categories: All downloads". And the tooltip could show an additional mention such as "Right-click to define your own categories"
IMHO, that would be much better than a whole help file chapter

my latest favorite jamendo album (Creative Commons license): CraZyH et Djézinho - Prémis N'1
Could be considered as the male counterpart to zap mama. It's really worth a try, even if you hate hip-hop...
